The University of Bamenda,UBa and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development MINADER have signed a Memorandum of Understanding.The MoU which will be mutually beneficial to both structures will equally permit the University of Bamenda to fulfill one of its assigned mission, that of championing Agriculture and food security in the region. Signing on behalf of UBa was the Vice-Chancellor, Prof.Theresia Nkuo-Akenji while H.E. Mr.
Gabriel Mbairobe signed on behalf of MINADER. The signing ceremony which tok place On Thursday September 21, 2023 at the Conference Hall of MINADER was witnessed by top officials of both UBa and MINADER. Also present was the Executive Assistant to the Executive Secretary of RUFORUM, Dr Sokona Dagnoko who was in Cameroon to follow up on the impending 19th AGM of RUFORUM to be hosted by Cameroon next month under the high Patronage of the President of the Republic Head of State, H.E. Paul Biya
